Driving F-Types is our passion

We are a group of driving enthusiasts who enjoy getting our F-Types out of the garage.
Our history
In 2019 a smal group of F-Type owners got together for the first ever F-Type Forever Dragon Run. We came together from Florida, Illinois, South Carolina, Rhode Island, Massachusets, and Canada to enjoy the roads and comraderie of fellow enthusiasts.
Today
Our group has grown each year and now encompasses multiple days, for those who want to maximize their driving time in the mountains. We still welcome those who are only able to participate in the main event on Saturday. While this is an F-Type focused event, all vehicles are welcome. Please be sure to register if you are planning to attend.

2019
Inaugural Meetup
May 11, 2019
A small group of owners along with their friends and spouses made the trek to Robbinsville, NC. We met for lunch at Tapoco Tavern, did a few runs, had a few laughs, and decided to meet up the following year to do it all again.
2020
Covid outing
October 3, 2020
In 2020, things in Robbinsvile finally opened up in the late summer and plans were made to return to TOD & Tapoco Tavern. Eight cars total completed multiple runs ending with the decision that this would be an annual event.
2021
Fuel, Anyone?
May 15, 2021
Fuel worries from the Colonial Pipeline ransomeware attack kept a few folks at home as widespread fuel outtages were reported. However, all 12 attendees were able to easily find fuel across the South and enjoy a fun outing. A few folks decided to stay over and expand the drive to roads beyond TOD.
2022
Multi-Day Event
May 14 - 16, 2022
Our meetup oficially expanded into a multi-day event and our organizers worked with various sponsors to allow our group to raise funds for the Dream Cars 4 Kids charity. We created our first website and opened up online registration with over 40 attendees.
2023
5th Annual Event
May 13 - 15, 2023
Our 5th annual event was a continuation of the buzz generated from our 2022 event. While we were unable to continue with fundraising activities, organizers coordinated event vinyl and souvenir name badges for all. There were 41 F-Types with other makes and models in attendance, resulting in over 60 participants.
2024
new Schedule
May 10 - 12, 2024
For 2024 our event began in Asheville based on feedback from previous attendees. We kicked off on Friday with two separate drives, the main event on Saturday, and an morning drive on Sunday. While the repaving project kept registration to 18 Jags and 34 attendees, it absolutely leant to a fantastic drive as the new pavement was smooth and sticky.
